North Vermilion's Never Quit Attitude leads to state title
The North Vermilion Lady Patriots won the Class 3A softball state title by having the attitude, “It is never over, until it is over.”
The Lady Patriots beat Brusly 5-3 in 10 innings on Saturday in a late-night contest.
When the game was on the line, the Lady Patriots could have packed it in and settled for second place in Class 3A.
Not these girls. They wanted it just a little more than Brusly that night.
North Vermilion head coach Joy LeBlanc instilled in her players to give it their all until the final out is made.
